Lesson 2: Vou Festejar
In this lesson, you will learn another Beth Carvalho song - "Vou Festejar." In this song, the singer speaks to a romantic interest who had recently betrayed him/her. The chorus would roughly translate to "You repaid kindness with treachery."
Despite this treachery, however, the singer declares that s/he will no longer argue or be affected by it, and instead will go "festejar" or "celebrate" the person's suffering and regret.
