In this lesson, you will learn the 10 syllables of line 3 of "Carolina" by Seu Jorge.

Rhythm

Play the audio file below and chant along with the speaker.  Do not move on until you are able to chant to URB accurately from memory.

The line is broken into two segments.  Use the audio files below to examine the articulation of each syllable of each segment.  Listen closely and mimic my pronunciation exactly.

Memorization

Once you are comfortable articulating the syllables in their natural rhythm, use the audio file below to commit the entire line to memory:
  • Press play and sing along with the audio until the end.
  • Do this as many times as it takes for you to be able to sing the line from memory.
  • Once you have 35% reduced speed, move onto 15%, then full speed.
